Hi there, thought you might like to see something else besides Valentine Cards (although I do truly enjoy making Valentine greetings). This card is a delicate birthday card which incorporates the spirelli thread wrapping technique on a die-cut pinked circle. I love this thread from Wonderfil! The delicate little flower button was accented with a little rhinestone that was colored with a Bic Mark It pen to get the perfect shade. This paper has a clear embossed effect on it which if you want to re-create that type of look, just simply take a swirl stamp or stencil, some embossing or watermark ink and then heat emboss using clear embossing powder. The flourish used on this card is a Sizzix die and would also work great to create a stencil for the heat embossing technique. The greeting on this card is a delicate peel off sticker.
